Why We Started
Love & Care Home Health was born from loss, and from love.
Our founder grew up in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and spent over 30 years working in home health and elder care in South Florida as a licensed CNA. She loved the work, but over time she grew troubled by what she kept seeing: clients treated like schedules, families left without answers, and care that felt too rushed to feel truly personal.
When her mother passed away in 2015, that feeling became impossible to ignore. She had watched the person she loved most move through a care system that could feel cold, inconsistent, and detached. She knew care could be better than that. She knew what it meant to truly show up for someone in a vulnerable moment.
In 2017, she founded Love & Care Home Health LLC with one clear conviction: every person deserves to be cared for the way she would have wanted her own mother cared for. Not as a case. Not as a shift. As family.
